Where have all the progressive LA blogs gone? Maybe my Googling has weakened, but I really struggled to find endorsements, opinions and voter guides on the June 5th California Primary. Maybe they’re all waiting for November to start caring. Regardless, here’s what I came up with in my hasty researching. My West LA ballot might look slightly different than yours, but check out the links below and you might be able to fill in some holes for your own. Click on the names to visit each candidate’s totally unbiased and objective official campaign site.

A note about the below: I’ve collected endorsements from various sources that seem at least halfway level-headed, but I wouldn’t exactly consider these my own endorsements. Just a left-leaning survey, I guess. Some endorsements are split because of a lack of consensus among where I looked. Some endorsements are due to lack of any opposition. In the case of some of the Judges, it’s a matter of having to vote for someone.

Even if you vehemently disagree with every endorsement below (and frankly I don’t wholeheartedly agree with every one of them either), still get out there and let your voice be heard.

Happy voting!
